Here, courtesy of You Tube and The Discovery Channel (also, How It's Made TV Show) is a very brief but accurate manufacturing video showing how vinyl is made. we suggst you scoll the video player/position before playing the movie, and enjoy.
Despite the 12" example being shown, 7" are made exactly the same way. What the movie didn't show was the diferent qualities of stampers made - some will press 1,000 records, wheras other stampers press upto 10,000.
